Traditional quick releasers
are made of tissue and sometimes
there are differences of a couple
millimeters when sewing the quick
releasers, and this can make a
big difference in terms of security:
some needles do not eject or punch
the material, etc. This is why
accidents happened in the past.

ground (and takes a while)... it
is almost impossible in the water.

Releaser is very easy and fast
to hook back on.
Also, quick releasers with a needle
have proved to be dangerous, because
when released, the needle may dig
into your hand. This happens frequently.
Not fun... Plus, if the load is too
important, the needle-based releaser
may not release at all (the French
National Laboratory of Trials has
conducted surveys about this). |
